Story
Jacob Brindley, from Waterhouses, near Stoke on Trent, was diagnosed with Leukemia at just 11 months old and relapsed at age 4. He is now a healthy teenager actively playing sport, but his family have never forgotten the support they received when he was in hospital and always try to raise funds to help families going through a similar experience. Everytime the family needed support Ronald McDonald House was there.
On the 28th July,2024 Jacob, together with his younger brother Alfie, Aunty Bethan and Nanna K, will be taking part in the Liverpool Abseil 2024 Event at Liverpool FC . The family would be grateful for your support and hope that you will be able to help us spread the word
Since 1993, Ronald McDonald House Alder Hey, fondly known as Mac House, has tripled in size to become the largest Ronald McDonald House in Europe and has supported thousands of families from across the UK and beyond.
But now the aged building is in desperate need of a major refurbishment to improve the family experience and ensure the House can continue supporting families of poorly children for the next 30 years and beyond.
At Ronald McDonald House Charities UK, we need your help to raise the final £2 million of our ambitious £11 million project.
Get involved and help us transform our ‘home away from home’ for families of tomorrow.
