Story
Thank you for visiting my page. I’m doing a zip wire from Bournemouth pier to Bournemouth beach to remember my Mum. I've chosen to support Sarcoma UK, a national charity that funds vital research, offers support for anyone affected by sarcoma cancer and campaigns for better treatments.
In loving memory of Sharon Woodley. Sharon was diagnosed with stage 4 Endometrial Sarcoma in June 2023 and was receiving treatment at the Churchill Hospital. Very sadly, Sharon passed away on 19th September 2023, after her condition took a turn for the worse and despite efforts of paramedics, her body couldn't take it anymore.
Sharon was an amazing woman who was loved by so many. She was a devoted wife to Darren, and Mother to Chloe and Jacob. She would have made the most caring Nana in the world, and we are all so sad she never got the chance to meet and cuddle her granddaughter, Hallie Sharon-Rose. Sharon had so many wonderful friends and always had a smile on her face.
Sarcoma is a type of cancer that develops in the bone and soft tissue. It is difficult to diagnose and one of the hardest to treat. By supporting me, we can help change this. Your donation will help researchers find answers, keep the specialist Support Line open, and raise awareness to improve treatment and standards of care.
Your donations go so far in helping the sarcoma community:
£1 Could cover the cost of 10 texts to the support line.
£10 Could be used to buy microscope slides to look at cells in minute detail.
£30 Could fund one hour of use of a high-powered laboratory microscope.
£150 Could fund the support line for a week.
Thank you for your support.
