We work to prevent breast cancer to stop women, and men, being diagnosed.

Story

I’ve made the decision to sign up to an Ultra white collar boxing event in Stoke to raise money for a very important charity. It will be 8 weeks of training at a boxing gym, followed by the big fight night on 13/07/2024. Having never boxed before, it’s a massive step out of my comfort zone and will be a huge challenge, but I’m up for the fight 🥊

I’m raising money for Breast Cancer UK. I’ve chosen this charity following the recent diagnosis of breast cancer for my step mum, Paula.

All donations are welcome and massively appreciated, no matter how big or small.

There’s information about the charity below.

Thank you 👍🏻

Breast Cancer is the most common cancer in the UK. Over 55,000 women and 390 men a year are diagnosed with breast cancer. Yet around a third of these cases are preventable.

Breast Cancer UK is working to prevent breast cancer through education, scientific research, collaboration and policy change.

Breast Cancer UK provides practical advice and tips on how we can reduce our risk. They campaign for changes to national health policies to support prevention, and fund research to help improve our understanding of how to stop the disease.
