Story
on May 27th - 28th Jack and Nick will be running the 4x4x48 challenge, which consists of running 4 miles, every 4 hours for 48 hours. 48 miles in total.
Last year they completed a 24 hour ultra-marathon (50 miles) and raised just under £2,400 for a mental health charity. They also promised that their next challenge will be bigger and better, so what's bigger and better than adding another 24 hours!!
This year’s charity is the Frank Bruno Foundation, The Frank Bruno Foundation exists to provide support, encouragement and the motivation to succeed for those currently facing or recovering from mental ill-health issues. They aim to achieve this by providing opportunities to participate in a wellbeing and non-contact boxing program, supported by a new led wrap around service. The Frank Bruno Foundation directly supports participants in building self-esteem, confidence, resilience and discipline and in applying such skills to their daily lives. The money Nick and Jack will be raising will provide and maintain a safe environment for individuals facing and recovering from mental ill health symptoms by delivering wellbeing sessions alongside non-contact boxing workouts bringing together healthy bodies and healthy minds.
Jack and Nick are both very passionate to support people going through mental health issues and will always do what they can to support, inspire and motivate.
Thank you for your time and any donations are massively appreciated
