Story
Thank you for taking the time to visit my just giving page.
Personally I love challenging myself physically, so therefore on the 20th October 2024 I will be running the Yorkshire marathon in support of a truly great cause.
Those of you who know me will concur that the military, and the RAF in particular, is a passion that I hold very close to my heart. Additionally, I am a keen member of East Midlands Universities Air Squadron and will be joining the RAF as a pilot post graduation. In conjunction with this, the Royal Air Force Benevolent Fund was obviously an instinctive choice for my fundraising.
The RAFBF is a leading military welfare charity. It supports current and former members of the RAF, their partners and families, providing practical, emotional and financial support, whenever it is needed.
I’m sure many of you will agree that our service personnel, veterans and their respective families take serious risk and often experience significant sacrifices in the safeguarding of our nation and its allies.
As citizens of the UK, I feel we owe a lot to the bravery and selflessness of these individuals. As a result of this, any donations to my fundraiser would be greatly appreciated. It will certainly be money well spent as the RAFBF ensures that effective support (in various fashions) is made available to whoever requires it.
I’d like to thank you again for ‘stopping scrolling’ and being kind enough to take a look at my JG page. If you can’t spare any donations, please feel free to share the page.
