WISHH, the official charity of Hull Hospitals, has launched its ‘Space to Grow’ appeal to raise £100,000 to enhance the facilities of Hull’s Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. This will complement the Hospital Trust’s expansion of the unit by 5 cots.

Story

My daughter, (Delilah) was born over 10 weeks early. at a gestation of just 29+4 weeks.

Delilah was in the Neonatal small baby unit for over 40 days. She is now home and thriving! We are so so proud of her, but the support the Hull Nicu team gave to Delilah was incredible.

We cannot thank them enough for everything they have done, not just for Delilah, but for me and Delilah's mother too.

It would mean a lot to us to raise some money to help the Hull Nicu team continue providing the amount of help and support they do to the babies, and the parents too.

I have booked to run my first local marathon on the 2nd September, to raise some funds, and awareness of how great these guys are, as well say a huge thank you to all of the staff who helped us make Delilah strong enough to come home.
