Hi all,

A couple of months ago, while raising money for the 10YFan mountain challenge and triathlon, I said I’d do an ultra-marathon this year if the total exceeded my target of £1,000. Thanks to everyone’s generosity the total ended at £1,861. Unfortunately my friends have demanded I deliver on my promise, so I’ve decided to go a bit further and sign up to a few more events. In the coming months I’m doing another triathlon, 2 half marathons, 2 marathons, and then 2 ultra-marathons in the same month:

Sep – Maldon Triathlon, Battersea Park Half Marathon, Windsor Half Marathon

Oct – Amsterdam Marathon & Battersea Marathon

Nov – Morocco 110km Ultra-Marathon & Leeds Last Man Standing Backyard Ultra

I’ll be turning 40 out in Morocco, soon after crossing the finishing line (hopefully).

Once again, I’m trying to avoid annoying everyone with constant requests for donations. So, I’ve set up a JustGiving page to cover all. It is in memory of my mother Julia, who spent her whole life nursing, caring & counselling others in their time of need. I’m raising money for Farleigh Hospice, where she worked for years. Hospice’s provide vital end of life care to patients and their families.
