So, time for another personal challenge and chance to raise some money for a good cause.

Between October 2nd-5th, I will be running 84 miles in 84 hours in memory of my friend Dan & Liv’s Martha Grace Foster.

The 84 represents how many hours Martha was with us all for. I will start at her birth hour of 8am on what would of been her 1st birthday and will start my last run at 8pm, the hour that Martha spread her wings and left us last year.

This is my birthday present to Martha and will be by far the toughest thing, both physically and mentally, that I’ve done yet.

Hopefully, I can have someone different running each of the runs with me to help get me round and keep spirits high. Any support will be most appreciated and I will be forever grateful.

The structure of the running over the 3 and a half days is

21 X 4 mile runs (84 miles)

4 mile run every 4 hours on the hour

The time Inbetween runs will be used to rest, recover and refuel.

The aim is to do the majority of the runs locally to me, and the last day in Leeds, with the last run being Headingley stadium to Elland road starting at 8pm on 5th October.

I will be raising money for 4Louis who help support families and people affected by the tragic loss of a baby by providing a memory box to the family of the treasured loved one.
