THE RAFFLE HAS BEEN DRAWN PLEASE DO NOT DONATE FOR THE RAFFLE.

In a bid to give back to Alder Hey Children’s Charity, a fantastic cause that has supported our son, Elliott, since birth, we have decided to arrange a charity Football match to raise some money.

Elliott, now 2 years old, was born with a complete Atrioventricular Septal Defect (AVSD). He has to date undergone four open-heart surgeries. In January 2023 Elliott required life saving surgery for an ileostomy after developing Necrotizing enterocolitis (NEC), following his second heart surgery. More recently, he had to undergo surgery again to have a pacemaker fitted due to 'complete heart block'. But despite all these challenges, our brave little fighter continues to amaze us.

Throughout this difficult journey, Alder Hey and its incredible staff members have been our guiding light. They have provided unwavering support during the toughest period of our lives. Now, it's time for us to give something back!

On April 21, 2024, we will be hosting a Charity Football Match at Rimington FC near Clitheroe. The match will feature a team assembled by myself (Elliott's Dad), consisting of players from teams I've played for in the past. We will be going up against a group of coaches and parents from Clitheroe Wolves—a club that Elliott's sister currently plays for!

To secure their place in the squad, each player will donate £15. Each side will have a minimum of 15 spaces to fill to ensure we get as close to our target as possible!

But it won't just be about the game. We want the whole family to enjoy the day! The bar will be open, and local business Stonebakers will be selling their freshly baked stone baked pizza. There will be a half time penalty shoot out for children to sign up to, giant games on the astro turf, face painting and lot of other fun things to do!

We are aiming to raise as much as we can for Alder Hey Children's Charity through this event. Every contribution counts and will make a difference in the lives of children who need it most.

Join us in supporting this incredible cause and help us create brighter futures for children like Elliott!

A special thank you to all businesses sponsoring and supporting this event:
