Story
We lost a true legend of a man in John Feenstra of whom was my Father in Law through Lung Cancer. After being diagnosed in November 2022 and our doctors informing us he had limited time with us, we said our goodbyes on the 26th January 2023 which has left a huge hole in the hearts of those who loved him and had the pleasure of meeting him.
The most positive and genuinely nice human being who touched the hearts and souls of everyone he met. An influential individual in the community with a loving wife and three children and was a massive part of all of our lives.
Charlie Wharton and I are proud to say we’ll be running the marathon in April in aid of John and Asthma + Lung who are doing some amazing work. John himself loved his running (as you can see from the cover photo) and so this is a real nod to him.
1 in 5 of us will have a lung condition during our lifetime. There's a new diagnosis every minute.
They're the only UK charity that fights for everyones right to breathe. Every pound I'm able to raise will take us a step closer to a world where everyone has healthy lungs.
Just £22 allows one of Asthma + Lung UKs nurses to answer a call on the Helpline, offering potentially lifesaving advice. We’d be very grateful for any donations you could make!
