Story
I'm skydiving, jumping out of a plane in an exhilarating TERRIFYING experience to raise funds for research into Nonketotic Hyperglycinemia (NKH).
After 2 days at home my beautiful baby girl Freya went into respiratory rest what resulted in me giving her CPR and mouth to mouth, Freya was later resuscitated again by paramedics on the way to hospital, we had a month in Bristol Children’s intensive care and found out she had 2 bleeds on the brain and a stroke, after another 2 months on Bluebell ward at Bristol we found out Freya has NKH.
Kids with NKH have a hard time of it - very medicalised lives, with seizures, the pain and suffering, and it's life limiting and terminal. My jump will help fund an effective gene therapy treatment, because these kids deserve more.
