I'm participating in Norwich's November 2025 Ultra MMA event to raise funds for Norfolk Clubhouse.

About me

I'm an overweight nerd in my mid-30s. I first trained in MMA when I was at university. Unfortunately, a lingering injury and moving away after university meant I never got back into training.

15 years later, it feels like it's a 'now or never' situation where I want to get fit, get healthier and push myself to do something new.

Ultra MMA

Ultra MMA is a way for amateurs to train, prepare and take part in their first MMA fight, all while raising money for charity and getting in better shape.

The event will take place on Friday 21st November 2025 at Epic Studios.

Norfolk Clubhouse

Each year, Candour selects a local charity partner to support. In 2025, we've partnered with Norfolk Clubhouse.

Norfolk Clubhouse provides a safe place to meet and positive opportunities for members to access social connection, education, training and employment.

Norfolk Clubhouse is member-led and members provide peer support within a facilitated environment.

Norfolk Clubhouse follows the International Clubhouse Model of mental health.
