Story

Hello Everyone, thank you for taking the time to visit our fundraising page.

The Tiny Toes Appeal is incredibly close to our hearts, having spent two weeks on the Neonatal Unit with our daughter Arabella in early 2023.

Rotherham Hospital and Community Charity’s Tiny Toes appeal aims to raise £150,000 to create a home from home for our most vulnerable patients and their families.

Babies can spend anywhere from a few days to six months on the unit, meaning it becomes a second home for parents riding a rollercoaster of emotions, filled with hope and anxiety. While nothing can prepare them for their time on the Neonatal Unit, we can make their experience more bearable by creating a homely, welcoming and modern unit.

As a duo, we are taking on numerous challenges this year with the ambition of raising as much money as possible.

We have already completed the Sheffield Half Marathon in April, and will be lining up in the worlds biggest half marathon, The Great North Run in September.

Sandwiched in-between, we are taking on the challenge of Total Warrior. An epic 12km course filled with 25 obstacles, including Peaks of Pain and The Shocker!

Jack’s biggest challenge then sees him attempting the ‘Lakes in a Day 2024’ (Saturday 12th October)

A 50 miles Ultramarathon, 4000m ascent – a journey on foot from the very top of the Lake District at Caldbeck to the very bottom, at Cartmel, via the stunning Helvellyn Ridge and the western shoreline of Lake Windermere.

Any support would be greatly appreciated, see you at the start line!
