We support the 1 in 5 of us who experience trauma, abuse, assault, domestic violence, and other traumas during our lifetime. Help Breakthrough provide FREE therapy and support for survivors across the South West and Midlands.

Story

I'm part of an amazing group of 20 TeamBreakthrough runners this year, helping to raise awareness for mental health and the impact of trauma and abuse. 1 in 5 of us experience trauma, abuse, assault, domestic violence, and other traumas during their lifetime.

I suffered abuse as a child and other major trauma through my life has left me with CPTSD. I cannot afford treatment, so without charities providing this kind of service, people like me would be left spiralling in a world of anxiety and suffering. Thankfully with their support and professional therapists, I am finding a way through this.

Each donation helps Breakthrough to provide FREE counselling, art therapy, groups, mental health support and signposting for around 750 survivors of abuse each year

Your support genuinely saves lives - so please give generously!
