Nightingale House Hospice, based in the centre of Wrexham, is a home away from home - where everyone gets looked after like family. Its a joy-filled place which provides specialist palliative care for those living with life-limiting illnesses, such as advanced cancer, motor neurone disease and chronic heart failure. But they offer a lot more than just medical care

The hospice has a 12-bed in-patient ward, but they also provide occupational therapy, music therapy and physiotherapy to name a few including a hydrotherapy pool and an ambulance service. They even have therapy dogs, and you may even see a reindeer walking around the grounds at Christmas time too!

All of their services are completely free-of-charge to patients and their families across the catchment area of Wrexham, Flintshire, East Denbighshire and Barmouth, as well as the border towns including Oswestry and Whitchurch.
