Story

Hi Everyone! Please help me raise money for the Derbyshire Mind Charity which provides crucial mental health and wellbeing support to the local community. On Sunday 24th Nov I will be taking part in the Mental Elf 5K run dressed as a Christmas Elf!!

Anyone who knows me knows how much I have always hated running! This year I have faced it and since September 2024 I have been running with a wonderful group of people on Wednesday evenings who have supported and motivated me to become a more confident runner. Much to my surprise I am loving it!

So the reason I want to take part in the Mental Elf run is to show my commitment towards supporting those struggling with their mental health as I know how it feels. I have also witnessed some of the impact of poor mental health first hand within my work and personal life. So I just want to say it's ok not to feel ok, it's ok to feel your feelings but it's really important to share how you feel with people who can help.

I hope you will show your support by making a small donation for this cause.

Thank you in advance and wish me luck!

Jas
