Story

The International Taoist Society (ITS) seeks your support to secure a permanent home for the practice and preservation of the Taoist Arts. For over six decades, we have been offering classes in the Taoist Arts to the Leeds community, but our journey has been hindered by rented and inadequate facilities. With a dedicated space, we can establish a centre of excellence, nurturing physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being in an uninterrupted manner. We have identified a suitable location - the Paxton Horticultural Society - and now all we need are the funds. By contributing to our £150,000 crowdfunding campaign, you can help us secure a mortgage deposit and cover renovation costs. Join us in creating a welcoming sanctuary where individuals from all walks of life can gather, explore a healthier way of living, and experience the transformative power of the Taoist Arts.

Students of the Leeds classes on Monday and Wednesday nights are looking to raise £3000 towards the overall total - we will be hosting an event with music, food, cakes, massage and a jumble sale.
