Story

I sadly lost my grandfather (Pops) on 30 December 2023 following a sad and painful battle with Dementia.

Those who knew Pops will be aware of his unwavering support and generosity, not only to his family but also to his friends, colleagues, clients and stray dogs (that would sometimes bite him!)

Pops was an exceptional man in all aspects of his life, the kindest soul to have ever lived, an absolute treasure and nothing makes me prouder than to be his little darling.

I am running this in his memory, and in the hope to raise some money to support Dementia UK - a specialist dementia nursing charity which provides support to the whole family.

Although I am partial to a 5K, this half marathon is a considerably larger distance. Any donation, big or small, would be much appreciated.
