As many of you will know, I am a trustee of a charity called Feed Fenland, operating in both Wisbech and March.

Feed Fenland is providing a hot meal and drink to those in need six days a week.

I strongly believe that everyone deserves access to a hot meal, regardless of their circumstances. It's not a privilege, but a necessity for survival and well-being. Feed Fenland offer a no questions asked service, ensuring that anyone in need can receive support.

Volunteers of Feed Fenland started off serving 30 portions a night. But recently, we broke our own record by serving 175 portions in one night! I do worry about how we can meet these growing needs and make it sustainable. In the beginning, just one big pot was enough, but now our cooks are making nearly three full pots of delicious hot food. Money is tight for many people, and that's exactly why our service is growing. We're here to feed anyone who is struggling, whether they're housed or homeless, employed or not, single individuals or whole families.

Feed Fenland are reaching out to you because we believe in the power of community and the impact we can make when we come together.
