In September 2025, myself (Fred White) and many friends (and whoever else wants to join!) will be walking the entire coast of the Isle of Wight (65+ miles) in memory of our dear friend, Roy Denham, who sadly passed away in 2023 after a brave battle with pancreatic cancer.

Roy was a kind, generous, and much-loved man who made a difference to everyone who knew him. In his final weeks, he was cared for by Mountbatten Hospice, whose incredible staff provided compassion, dignity, and support not just for Roy, but also for his family and friends.

This walk is my way of honouring Roy’s memory and giving something back to Mountbatten Hospice, whose work is nothing short of extraordinary. They rely on fundraising and donations to continue offering vital care to people across the Isle of Wight facing the end of life, and every contribution helps make that possible.
