Story
To raise awareness and funds for brain tumour research we are organising Arundel 'Wear a Hat' Parade as part of our 'Wear A Hat' Day events.
When: Saturday 9th March, 2:30pm
Meeting Point: Tarrant Street Cobbles (by With Love florist). Tarrant Street, Arundel, West Sussex.
Arundel's 'Wear a Hat' Parade is taking place on Arundel Literacy festival weekend.
Anyone can take part in this free event, just join in the fun and wear a hat. Whether you are inspired by your favourite literacy character or have a favourite hat in your wardrobe just pop it on and join us for our Arundel Tarrant Street Walk. All ages are welcome, but children must be accompanied by their parent or carer.
March is Brain Tumour Awareness Month and each year a variety of events are held to raise awareness and much needed funds to find a cure for brain tumours. Wearing a hat reminds us of those who have been affected by this devastating disease.
If you would like to support this fundraising event, please check out our fund-raising page or pop some change into the collections boxes during the Hat Parade.

Brain Tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer. The ask is simple: wear a hat for hope and make a donation to Brain Tumour Research.
The first Wear A Hat Day was held in 2010 and, since then, it has raised more than £2 million for Brain Tumour Research to help raise awareness of this devastating disease, campaign for the Government and larger charities to invest more, and fund ground-breaking research at Centres of Excellence where scientists are focused on improving treatments for patients and, ultimately, finding a cure.
I am fundraising for Brain Tumour Research as they are the only national charity dedicated to funding long-term, sustainable research in the UK. Please help me fund the fight. Together we will find a cure.
