On the 21st April I will be running the London Marathon in aid of Shelter, a charity which works to fight homelessness across the UK.

There are nearly 750,000 less affordable social houses in the UK, coupled with increased rents and private landlords this is contributing to the housing crisis. Shelter's emergency help line service is open 365 days a year. The helpline receives over 1000 calls a day. Additional to this there are 15 community hubs offering face to face support in communities around the country. 120,000 Children are currently in temporary accommodation Homelessness has doubled in the last decade.
