When I was a child, my bicycle meant freedom. It was an escape from the challenges I faced.

I loved riding and, though I longed for a BMX, my raleigh bike gave me independence and adventure, and did me proud well into adulthood...when it went on it's own journey to a new owner in Cameroon.

Now, I have an opportunity to give that same feeling to others who need it most. I'm participating in Cycle to PAW 2024, a 405km ride over 3 days from London to Paris Arbitration Week (PAW). But it's not just about the cycling; it's about making a difference.

By fundraising for Club Peloton through this event, we can support projects that transform young lives. Together, we can make a real impact:

- We can help recruit families for 1,150 children who have been waiting longer than 18 months to find adoptive homes.

- We can assist 500 families with post-adoption support, ensuring they have the resources they need.

- We can provide 800 bikes, tandems, and adapted trikes to children and young people affected by cancer, giving them the freedom to explore and enjoy life.

- We can support research that explores the relationship between physical and mental well-being in children surviving cancer.

- And we can tackle the root causes of violent street crime through 18 amazing projects.
