Story
Members and supporters of Girlguiding North West England are raising money for girls and young women across the region by taking part in a sky dive on 2 June!
Girlguiding NWE offers girls and young women the chance to have fun, find adventure and the space to discover their potential.
They go to their first ever sleepovers, canoe on rivers, learn about body confidence, and lead their own camps. Or sometimes they simply have fun and try new things with friends.
Girls take what they do in guiding with them as they grow up. Everything from working in a team, to taking the lead, to speaking out on issues they care about. It helps them develop the skills and confidence to become the young women they want to be. And to make a difference to the world around them.
I have been a member of Girlguiding NWE since I joined Rainbows at 5 years old and have had some amazing experiences throughout the years! Now, as a Leader, I find it so rewarding to support the girls as they get to have their own adventures and grow and develop into incredible young women.
I have always wanted to do a skydive and what better reason than to raise money for a fantastic charity so they can keep providing lots of varied opportunities for their young members.
