We provide help and hope to everyone living with dementia.

Story

On Sunday the 20th October I will be running the Yorkshire marathon in aid of the Alzheimer’s society.

On the day of the marathon it will be almost exactly 2 years since I had major knee surgery, and before starting training for the marathon had never run more than 5k. So it will be a massive challenge for me to complete the marathon.

I am running in aid of the Alzheimer’s society and would like to raise as much money as possible to help research into this devastating disease. I know a number of people who have been diagnosed with some form of dementia including my grandad, my uncle Frank and my best friend’s grandad Mike.

If you are able to donate anything at all to help fund vital research and support for people suffering from Alzheimer’s and dementia then I would be so grateful.
