Story
My name is Isaac Rowlands, I am a 25 year old Assistant PGA Professional currently based at The Grove in Hertfordshire.
On 27/05/2025; I will be attempting to set the Guinness World Record for the Longest Golf Marathon, which is essentially the longest consecutive time playing golf. My attempt will take place under the midnight sun in Norway at the stunning Lofoten Links, where I will try to play golf for 32 hours consecutively.
My motivation for completing this challenge is to raise money for Macmillan, a charity that is very close to my heart, as I’m sure it is to many of yours too. Macmillan is a charity that supports people with cancer, they truly give everything they’ve got to assist as many of those suffering as they can. If you’re diagnosed, your worries are Macmillan’s worries, nothing is too much, they are doing everything they can. Without your help, Macmillan cannot support everyone who needs them, so please donate whatever you can no matter how much or little.
A special mention must go to The Grove who have kindly given me the opportunity to take on this monumental challenge. Also to the magnificent Lofoten Links for hosting me, aiding in the set up and making this event possible.
