On the 6th of February, two terrible earthquakes of magnitudes 7.8 and 7.5 struck the Southeast regions of Turkey and the Northwest regions of Syria. On the 20th of February, another earthquake of magnitude 6.4 struck southern Turkey, further worsening the already catastrophic situation. As of today, over 55,000 deaths have been confirmed, with tens of thousands injured and seeking aid, and hundreds of thousands displaced, with no home, no food, no shelter and nowhere to go.

Millions of Syrian refugees who fled the 12-year ongoing, devastating conflict to seek safety and shelter have now been left homeless once again and going into the month of Ramadan, their struggles will exponentially increase. These families require urgent humanitarian aid to survive, and we must act immediately.

In spite of these tragic events, I will be collaborating with Human Appeal to support as many of these victims as we possibly can. During the month of Ramadan, I will be pushing myself to the limits by undertaking the ‘Iron Abz Challenge’ where I will be running 100 miles, completing 3,000 push ups and 1,500 pull ups throughout the month. It will be a struggle, but not even an ounce of what challenges are faced by the victims of the earthquake. I will be aiming to raise £1000, which is only a small amount but will go a long way to improve the quality of these victims' lives. The money you donate will help with the following:

£20 – Hygiene Kit: Help a Syrian family preserve their dignity with a hygiene kit.

£25 – Emergency Family Blanket: Provide a warm blanket to Syrian refugees in Turkey.

£100 - Hot Meals & Food Packs: Help provide 200 meals for Syrians affected by the earthquake in Turkey.

£550 - Survival Pack & Tent: Support 1 family (5 people) with an emergency survival pack and tent to stay warm and sheltered from the cold.

£5000 - Temporary Home for 1 family.
