We train amazing hearing dogs to transform the lives of deaf people

Story

Hello,

Thanks for taking the time to click on the IOA Christmas Charity Appeal 2023 link.

We really hope that you'll be part of our fundraising campaign this year and make it even better than our inaugural efforts in 2022.

At Christmas we'd like to support a good cause aligned to the work of the IOA and that has the potential to change the lives of people for the better.

The 'ask' from you is to wear a Christmas Jumper, or other festive and cheery accessories, on 6th December for the Christmas Council Meeting and to donate online via this page or in person at the office!

We've chosen Hearing Dogs for Deaf People again and you can find out more about their work here.

If you'd like to explore how it feels to have the support of a Hearing Dog as a deaf person have a wee look at this. There are some positive stories to explore if you need a bit of inspiration!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Please remember to tick the GiftAid box to boost your donation by 25% (or more if you claim back as a higher tax payer.)

Thank you for reading and we appreciate your generosity - no donation is too small!
