Story
On the 20th May 2023, our team “Interfood … not fitness” will compete in the Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge in aid of Dementia UK.
Participating in the challenge is very meaningful as Dementia UK is a charity close-to-our heart, here at Interfood.
Dementia UK’s admiral nurses provide a warm-hearted approach, to provide help when people need help. They support and develop life-changing care for loved-ones and families affected by all forms of dementia, including Alzheimer’s disease.
They help families to manage complex needs, considering the person living with dementia and the people around them. Providing, a consistent support and often a lifeline for families affected by dementia. When people are struggling the nurses help them, to take back control. They provide help for people living with dementia so that they can stay independent for longer, and support the people caring for them, so that they have the strength to cope with the bad days, and the energy to enjoy the good days.
Admiral Nurses provide the quality of care that we would want for ourselves and our loved ones – working hard to increase the number of nurses across the UK so that no one has to face dementia alone.
Dementia UK is a registered charity in England and Wales (1039404) and Scotland (SC047429).
