From January through April, 2023, our family was given a place to stay together during our child Sadie’s cancer treatments. That place was Ronald McDonald House Charities of Memphis.

During the month of March through April 8th, 2024, we’re asking for donations in honor of Shepherd Hudkins, a special boy whom we met while living at RMHC-Memphis. We spent time with the Hudkins family playing games, sharing bread and community. Together, we found friendship through grief and joy through pain.

We are grateful for the space we were given to rest in together, and the time we were given with Shepherd and his family. Our stay at RMHC-Memphis was a blessing that now we hope to help give other families in their time of need.

Your donation will mean:

- Families who travel to Memphis for their child to receive treatment at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital will have a safe, comfortable, and private room to rest during long hospital trips. An average night cost at RMHC-Memphis is $170, however, no family ever receives a bill for their stay.

- Warm nutritious meals are provided 5 days a week for breakfast, lunch and dinner. A $5 donation will provide breakfast for a family. $7 provides lunch. $10 provides dinner.

- RMHC-Memphis fosters an environment of hope through support services and child-centered activities that encourage children to be children and keep families together near the care they need, always free of charge.
