In lieu of birthday gifts this year, I kindly ask that you consider making a donation in memory of Layla Elizabeth. Layla is the sweet daughter to our dear friends Zach and Amy Pizzey who lost her life too soon. Zach and Amy are two of the strongest people I've ever met and as such, wanted to take this opportunity to honor their beautiful Layla.

As most of you may know, I work at The Ronald McDonald House, where our mission is to support and provide family housing and resources to families while their sick child receives treatment. We believe when families are together, they cope better. We believe no family should have to deal with their child’s medical crisis alone.

Recently, I met a supporter whose daughter spent over 8 months in the NICU, and when asked what her name was, he responded with "Layla." The serendipity of this encounter, occuring just a few weeks ago, made it particularily meaningful. Your contribution will enable us to continue supporting families. Every dollar makes a difference.
