In memory of Arabella

Our darling Arabella sadly lost her fight in her battle to be cured of Acute Myeloid Leukemia following complications from a stem cell transplant on the 22 February 2025.
Arabella was an incredibly special little lady. We knew how special she was but we have realised in recent days as we struggle to process and comprehend what has happened, how many lives she touched with her fierce zest for life. She was so brave, never ever complaining about anything she was going through and still being so kind and loyal to those she loved in her life. She was fierce, she didn't care what anybody thought about her and taught us so much in her too short 7 years. She was quite simply unapologetically Arabella and we loved her all the more for it.
We are bereft. Life will never be the same again, it is hard to comprehend why, but we do know that Arabella would want us to emulate her passion and zest for life and if we can do anything to prevent more deaths from this terrible disease then I know she would want us to do that.
So as we mourn her we ask that rather than flowers for her funeral, people donate to Cure Leukemia. We will continue to support the charity and have some more things planned later this year in memory of Arabella.
Thank you, with Love xxx
Cure Leukemia helps blood cancer patients to access pioneering drug and transplant treatments by funding a network of specialist research nurses across the UK. Without these nurses, to ensure patients are monitored and cared for, clinical trials of these new treatments would not run and patients, that have exhausted standard treatment options, would miss out on potentially lifesaving therapies. Every penny raised for Cure Leukaemia helps save lives and also hastens global progress towards the eradication of all forms of blood cancer.
