Story
To mark World Water Day 2023 and acknowledge the importance of the UN Water Conference, InfoTiles are taking on an endurance challenge.
Participants will attempt to go without any water or drinks for 2x12 hours periods over 22nd & 23rd March. All money raised in support of the challenge will go directly to WaterAid.
WaterAid is an international not-for-profit, determined to make clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene normal for everyone, everywhere within a generation. Only by tackling these three essentials in ways that last can people change their lives for good.
How much should I donate?
Anything is welcome, there is no upper limit but €1/£1 for each hour (€24/£24) is a great place to start!
For example, €9 can buy a bag of cement for construction of a toilet, €40 can buy a new handwashing station, and €140 can install a new well!
Clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene should be a normal part of everyone’s daily life. Without all three, people can’t live dignified, healthy lives. With all three, they can unlock their potential, break free from poverty and change their lives for good.
The fundraising endurance challenge is in being delivered in partnership and with support from positive water news platform Make Water Famous: https://www.makewaterfamous.com/
