To celebrate Maahi's 1st birthday, we are embarking on a special journey across the vibrant city of London, from Mile End to Marylebone!

Me, Jaspreet and Maahi in sling/pram (Team Hothi!) will be starting our journey from The Queens Building at Queen Mary University making the 8-mile trip by foot along the scenic River Thames and via SOAS & Birkbeck with our final stop at St Marleybone School.

These educational institutions are all very close to our hearts as we've either studied, worked and/or volunteered with them.

Education has always been an important pillar of our upbringing and lives. We firmly believe in the transformative power of education to uplift individuals and communities alike. It has opened doors for us and empowered us in countless ways.

That's why we've decided to support the ICAS Foundation (another organisation close to my heart!) for our walk.

The ICAS Foundation supports academically talented students from disadvantaged communities who want to study accountancy and finance at university, offering bursary funding, personal mentors and support in obtaining internships and graduate jobs. In recent years over 95% of our students graduated with a 1st class or upper second honours degree. Our students are seriously smart people!

By participating in this personal walk and fundraising for the ICAS Foundation, we aim to make a meaningful impact on these deserving students' lives. We invite you to join us on this journey by supporting our cause. Together, let's create a brighter future through education!

Our target amount is £1,000. Your generous contribution will help us reach this goal and enable more talented individuals to access higher education opportunities.
