Why Macmillan Cancer Research?

Each year, Inchcape UK choose a charity to support from a business-wide perspective. For 2024, we asked our colleagues to vote for a charity of their choice and one that means something to them.

The votes were then counted and there was a clear winner: Macmillan Cancer Support.

Macmillan gives people with cancer everything they’ve got. If you’re diagnosed, your worries are Macmillan’s worries. Macmillan’s doing whatever it takes. But without your help, Macmillan can’t support everyone who needs them.

As a result, throughout the year, we'll be delivering different initiatives and campaigns to help fundraise for Macmillan Cancer Support, encouraging colleagues to play their part on an individual level, as a team and as part of the wider business.

What will Inchcape UK be doing to support Macmillan Cancer Support?

From using their volunteering day to support the charity to participating in a Macmillan Cancer Support event, there's something every Inchcape UK colleague can do to support Macmillan Cancer Support.

This page will act as the home for all our fundraising for Macmillan Cancer Support in 2024, and we'll make the donation at the close of 2024 when our charity activities come to a close - meaning we have a whole 12 months to really keep boosting our fundraising pot!
