In August 2024, the unthinkable happened when Brian lost his battle to cancer. Brian was a funny, kind, and caring character - and the true meaning of a gentleman, his chivalry was not unnoticed.

Brian was an amazing son, dad, brother, grandad and most importantly husband to Tracey. In his final days, the Pilgrims Hospice played a pivotal role in the unknown, offering comfort and compassion to seize precious memories that will last a lifetime.

On 21st June 2025, the 'Donny Dames‘ aka Tracey Hirst, Holly Brown, Abigail Copp, Georgie Buck, Steph Wylie, Chrissy Chambers, Si Black and last but not least Elliott & Daneka Gaunt will be taking on a HUGE challenge.

The Donny Dames will be taking part in the Pilgrims Way Challenge 2025 on Saturday 21st June - a 35km hike from Dover to Canterbury!!

This challenge is dedicated to Brian and for those just like Brian that were fortunate enough to be cared for by the incredible staff at Pilgrim’s Hospice for their final hours, days, weeks, and months of their lives.
