Event: Compassionate Friends MA 2023 Walk To Remember, on 14 October 2023
With your help we can effectively reach bereaved grandparents, parents and siblings suffering the loss of a child and provide them with the support that we offer through self help groups, encouragement, meetings and literature.

Story

We lost our 32 year old son Gregory Joseph Gravelle on Thursday, January 21, 2021 very unexpectedly. We will never forget that dreadful phone call! Our hearts are broken and our lives are forever changed.

Surviving the loss of a child is by far the most painful journey any parent can or will ever experience. Getting out of bed and trying to carry on with every day life is the greatest challenge as well as trying to grasp the harsh reality that our precious Gregory is gone. There are truly "NO WORDS" :(

A year after receiving this devastating and life changing phone call, we somehow found the courage to attend our first meeting with our local chapter of The Compassionate Friends. Walking through that door took every ounce of strength we had left.

This support group meets monthly and is unbelievable! Every single person in that room knows EXACTLY how one another feels. The meetings help us to learn how to carry the weight of our immense grief and helps us to try to find our new normal and to learn to live each day instead of merely surviving it!

We will be attending the Walk to Remember in Gregory's memory on Saturday October 14, 2021 at Sholan Farms in Leominster Mass at 9 am.

Please help support our local chapter by donating using the 'Donate' button. Your donation will help the chapter support grieving families find hope, compassion, understanding and the knowledge that they need not walk alone.

The more people that know about TCF's Walk to Remember, the greater the impact, so please also spread the word by sharing our page with your friends and family. Thank you in advance for your generosity, it means more than simple words could ever express.
