We provide personal support to people affected by Pulmonary Fibrosis

Story

Having lost Gran in 2022 and watching this awful disease swallow her up so fast. I am raising money to support others in need of support from this amazing charity.

Gran was an incredible woman, she cared for the family and loved everyone unconditionally, seeing her suffer from IPF (idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis) and deteriorate so quick from this disease has had a massive impact on the family, and really shows you how quickly life can change so fast.

IPF is a disease where breathing becomes so difficult, you rely on oxygen machines and 24/7 support to help you live, the scarring on the lungs can never be reversed however charities like the Pulmonary Fibrosis Trust can help put treatments in place to help slow the rate at which this disease takes over your life. The PF Trust also use donations to help buy support for people to use to help them get around day to day life.

IPF is a very rare disease that affects around 20 out of every 100,000 people and currently in the UK around 30,000 people are living with this disease.

Having watched Gran suffer from this disease my aim is to raise as much money as possible to help those also suffering with IPF, Your donation could help towards:

- a wheelchair (average cost £150)

- a mobility scooter (average cost £750)

- a stair lift (average cost £2,000)

- or even a caravan holiday with their family (average cost £300)

Any Donation Matters, and yours will help those in need to a happier and supported end of life.

Thank you xx
