A race through the mud and water of the river Blackwater at Maldon in Essex. A great way of raising funds for many charities. A fun day for all. In 2023 you can enter a team, come in fancy dress, or just take part...

Story

On Sunday 14th May, six of us will be taking part in the Maldon Mud Race in memory of a beloved Mum, Beverly White.

During her life, Beverly raised thousands of pounds for charity - she was always up for a challenge. Beverly done three Moonwalks, walking 26 miles throughout the night. She took part in the Race for Life more times than we can remember. Constantly creating new events to raise crucial money for charity.

But the most memorable one was when Beverly took part in the Maldon Mud Race - she completed it, and at the same time created the funniest and long lasting memories!

So in memory of a fantastic woman, we will be taking part in the Maldon Mud Race and would so appreciate any donations in Beverly's memory.

In return for donations we promise photos of six relatively unfit, boozy, aging friends, trying to wade their way through waist deep mud whilst trying to keep some kind of dignity in tact!
