Hello lovely people,

We are running the Bucharest half marathon on 13 October for International Justice Mission to help stop human trafficking in Europe and beyond.

Shockingly, over 50 million children, women and men are held in slavery today. That is 1 out of every 150 people on the planet!!!

It’s easy to become overwhelmed by these statistics buuuut instead of wallowing in despair, we’ve laced up our trainers and hit the pavements of London, all in the hope of a donation from YOU 🤗😁.

We’ve decided to partner with IJM because they’re an amazing, reputable, effective charity that not only fight trafficking, but also help rehabilitate its victims, supporting them to transition back to ‘normal’ (they’ve seen slavery decrease by up to 86% in places where they’ve worked!!).

Have a read of the story of just one woman they have supported:

Samara* was trafficked from Romania to the UK, sexually exploited and subjected to violence for five years, becoming pregnant as a result. But with IJM’s support and Samara’s powerful testimony, four traffickers were sentenced to five years in prison.
