Story

Hi

This year is the 200th anniversary of the RNLI, and the charity has saved more than 144,000 lives since it was formed in 1824.

I have chosen to support the RNLI because if I or my friends were ever in danger in the water I would want someone to be able to help me. There are 238 lifeboat stations around the UK and Ireland manned by an army of brave volunteers, I think that is amazing and we are very lucky to have this service.

On Sunday 26th May I will be walking 5 miles in the annual Selsey Lifeboat mayday walk and taking my Grandad Tony, who is Lifeboat Operations Manager of the Selsey station and his dog Skye for moral support and to carry my snacks.

please help me raise as much money as possible

Thank you.

Immi

RNLI volunteer lifeboat crews provide a 24-hour search and rescue service all around the UK and Ireland, while lifeguards keep a careful watch on the UK’s busiest beaches. RNLI lifesaving and drowning prevention depend on supporter fundraising and the generous donations that you and others give.
