Boulby Mine is doing something really unique and special!
They are creating a calendar that will feature their employees and contractors in a completely new and innovative way. The calendar is called the "Boulby in the Buff" and it will raise funds for the Great North Air Ambulance. This is a great initiative that will contribute to the longevity of the Air Ambulance service.
The calendar will showcase employees and contractors from different job roles in various settings. This means that there will be a diverse range of people featured, which is really exciting. The calendar will be a great way to showcase the different roles and responsibilities that people have at Boulby Mine.
The Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) rescues hundreds of severely injured or ill patients every year throughout the North East, North Yorkshire and Cumbria. Their doctor-led critical care teams deliver life-saving treatments at the scene of the incident whether that is on a fell top, a roadside or in a city centre. The charity responded to 1,640 call outs last year* alone, via their helicopter and emergency response vehicles, where they performed treatments and procedures which can mean the difference between life or death.
