Story
I am supporting Northwest Association for Blind Athletes (NWABA) because I believe in "I can!" My own mother was blind from the age of 7. Her overly protective mother wouldn't let her experience sports or many other fun childhood activities as she might get hurt. So my mom, as many others in similar circumstances did, grew up believing "I can't."
NWABA = I can!
By participating in the sports and physical activities provided by NWABA, blind and visually impaired individuals gain confidence, increase self-esteem, and reach their greatest potential in all areas of life! Talk about empowerment!
On Wednesday, September 18th, NWABA will be holding their second annual NWABA Give Day! Please help me to achieve my goal in supporting them. Thanks to the generous match pool donors, your gift will be matched one-to-one up to $35,000! Help us reach our goal of $65,000 today!
NWABA’s programs and services are offered at no cost to the participants and their families. With your generosity, NWABA can provide even more programs and services to children, youth and adults in our community.
Will you support NWABA with a donation today? I hope to hear you say, "I can!"
Thank you so very, very much for your support!
