Story
The much loved Parish Church of St Eustace is a Grade II* listed Anglican church in the village of Ibberton, Dorset. It stands to the south of the village, on a steep hillside. It is thought the oldest parts of the church date from between 1380 and 1400. It originally consisted of a chancel and nave; the north chapel and the tower were added in the 15th century, and the north aisle in the 16th century. This precious building now requires building work to stabilise the Northern Aisle. The PCC have been arranged many fund raising events and then hope to apply for grants to help our small community of 54 households retain the special focus for future generations. Lucinda & Su are taking their horses and Annette is using her feet on their church visitations. Half of the proceeds return to St. Eustace and the possibility of applying for grants for the churches fabric. Please support them.
Saturday 9th September between 11 – 3 pm St Eustace Church, Ibberton are holding a cake and preserves sale in the church to refuel visitors to our beautiful location.
