Story
As many of you will know, Dad fought against a very rare type of cancer, pseudomyxoma peritonei for the last 10 years. Since March 2023 he was under the care of the Sue Ryder community team who provided invaluable support to both him and Sally during this impossibly difficult year.
As Dad approached the end of his life, he was admitted into Sue Ryder Leckhampton Court Hospice who provided specialist care to him when he needed it the most. The staff continued to provide unbelievable care during an extremely difficult time to make him as comfortable and peaceful as possible during his final days. Their support and care was second to none and we are so grateful to them.
It is the request of Ian's family that flowers at the funeral are family only. As such, if you would like to make a donation in lieu of flowers, we would love for you to support Sue Ryder using this page.
Sue Ryder is here to make sure everyone approaching the end of their life or living with grief can access the support they need. There is no one size fits all when it comes to how we cope and the help we need, but with Sue Ryder's support, no one has to face dying or grief alone. They are there when it matters.
