Event: Race the Sun Lake District Keswick Off-Road, on 8 September 2024
From dawn to dusk, take on the Lake District’s mixed terrain with an exciting off-road bike section in Keswick, before completing the hiking and water stage in this triathlon-style team challenge.

Story

We raced the Sun yesterday up in a dreary Keswick and we completed the gruelling 3 disciplines in 8 hrs and 6 minutes which turned out to be a satisfactorily good time considering our ages.

I believe at 63 yrs I was the oldest by a few years!!

I am now nursing the blisters and aches but they were all worth it for a worthy charity.

I must thank everybody that has donated for the cause, it is all very much appreciated...and for those who may still want to there is still time to help.

Thank you so much for your support.
