Story

I am running the London Landmarks Half Marathon for Cardiac Risk in the Young, a charity dedicated to preventing young sudden cardiac deaths through awareness, screening, research, and supporting affected families.

I am running in memory of Aaron Dixon, who at the age of 23 lost his life to an undetected heart defect.

Aaron was a much loved son to Debbie & Gary and a treasured brother to Hollie.

Out of such tragedy Debbie has set up a Memorial Fund in memory of Aaron and has raised £725,000.00 to date. This money has been used to fund the screening of young adults aged 14-35!

Debbie has screened 9,131 young adults in Cheshire and the NorthWest, 372 of those being referred with abnormalities!

12 young adults are losing their lives every single week to an undetected heart defect so these screenings are critical for early diagnosis and preventing heart conditions worsening.

I would greatly appreciate any support and/or donations to assist me in achieving my goal to fund further heart screenings
