I am 70 years old and attempting a 100Km ultra challenge, walking non-stop day and night taking around 22 hours for Redwings, the UK's largest horse sanctuary of which I am a trustee. This challenge requires extensive fitness, with many hours and miles of endurance training. All donations will make me more determined than ever to complete the 64 demanding miles in the Lake District.

Redwings is responsible for around 2000 horses and donkeys that have been rescued from starvation, neglect, abuse and illness which carries responsibilities for feeding, bedding, grazing, veterinary care, farrier and essential staffing levels.
