My work colleague Gavin Lee started cycling in June 2023 on a borrowed bike. He has now been bitten by the cycling bug. So what better goal to set for him than riding the Yorkshire Corker (Stein Route). This route is 95 miles or if you prefer 153km and 5017 ft (1529 m) of climbing. This is a tough route for an experienced rider so Gav has his work cut out. I will riding with him as support but knowing Gav, he will end up supporting me. We are riding for St. Gemma's Hospice as this is Concorde Technology Group's (where Gav and I work) chosen charity this year.
