Story

In loving memory of Ian Pettman 15.09.60 - 18.02.25

Ian was sadly taken from us on Tuesday 18th February surrounded by his loved ones. He had a short battle with cancer where he fought throughout and remained positive and full of life till the end ❤️ Ian was the funniest, kindest, and most generous man and all who knew him have been deeply saddened and shocked by our loss, he has left a huge gap and will never be forgotten.

Throughout this journey Ian taught us all to never give up and remained so positive. He wasn’t ready to leave us all behind but unfortunately the cancer was just too aggressive, but he never gave up hope ❤️

We can’t thank The Pilgrims Hospice enough for all the love and compassion they showed Ian and to us as a family while looking after him.

We know he would love to raise money in his name to help other families at The Pilgrims Hospice ❤️

Ian’s funeral will take place on Friday 28th March at Thanet Crematorium, Margate at 1pm. Instead of flowers, we ask that if people would like to make a donation to The Pilgrims Hospice in memory of Ian. Thank you, from all of Ian’s Family x
